Local heritage book of Dorf Zinna

Dorf Zinna near Jüterbog, founded in 1170, in the former district of Jüterbog-Luckenwalde in Brandenburg (since 1993 the district of Teltow-Fläming), no longer exists.

The village was cleared in 1936/37 for the expansion of an artillery firing range (opened in 1864).
This became the largest military training area in training area in Germany through constant expansion in 1937 (1870 Altes Lager, 1889 Neues Lager, 1890 Jüterbog II, 1936/37 evacuation of Felgentreu, Mehlsdorf and Dorf Zinna).

Dorf Zinna, which was revived after 1945 by resettlers from Gablonz a.d. Neisse, was given the name Neuheim by its inhabitants in 1951 and is now a district of Jüterbog.
