Dear Cousin Armin Heinrich Erich:
I?m a descendent of Johanne Christine Albrecht. She married Karl Hoffmeister. They lived in Holzen, Holzminden, Niedersachsen, Germany. Their son, Friedrick August (Dr. Fred) Hoffmeister, is my great-grandfather. Dr. Fred immigrated to the USA after the 1866 conflict in the Brunswick Duchy. Dr. Fred settled in Imperial, Chase County, Nebraska. This is where I was born.
I have a little more information on the Albrecht, Brunotte and Hinze family. You have Hinzen. I have copied the research of my first cousin once removed, Dr. George F. Hoffmeister. I do not know what became of his research. So my information is only family tradition. Have you documented the Albrecht genealogy? If so, I would appreciate copies. Would you care to exchange pictures and information? Have you done much research in the Langenholzen area? I have copied a Langenholzen census of the Heinrich August Albrecht family in 1855. I believe that Heinrich August had two sons. I could not make out the names. Would you likea copy? Please send your address.
